How time really flies when your enjoying yourself, isn't it?.. Another month had passed, and now, it’s September... Before starting another chapter of my life as a student, why don't you join me as I look back and see all the mixed emotions happenings this August..
When the month of August arrived, the "Buwan ng Wika" is what all the students were thinking of. But before putting our minds for that, we'd still have the 1st PT to take.. Whooaaa, tissue is what I need for my bleeding nose when we were solving problems in Math and answering the questions in reading comprehension and exercises in English which were like a college entrance test. What a relief when the exam was done and finding out that I didn't got failing scores...
With the theme, "Sa pangangalaga ng wika at kalikasan, wagas na pagmamahal talagang kailangan", the COM-ARTS club prepared so many things for the celebration of the "Buwan ng Wika". There were contests for all of the student.. Good in writing?, join the essay-writing and poem-making... Do you like composing songs and have the voice, you're the one they're looking for in the song-writing.. Are you an intelligent and magnificent speaker, and the ultimate "pambato" when it comes to debate, here is the "BALAGTASAN". Got the guts in conquering the stage, ramping while wearing the Pilipino clothes, the "Pagrampa" is just for you. There's also the contest in poster-making and exhibit where we all gave our best... We also watched the heart-pounding movie "Shake, Rattle and Roll XI". I thought I’ll get a heart attack back then..On the last day of the celebration is a program with Masters of Ceremony, Kim and David. Oh, they’re really good and I admire them for that.. All the COM-ARTS officers and members performed a dance number and some presented a play. They’d also announced the winners in the poster-making where we’re in the 3rd place and 2nd place in the exhibit. We were very disappointed about the results because I thought we’re going to get the 1st place especially in the exhibit because it’s well-organized and unique. All of us worked very hard for it. Thanks to Sir Maurison, the disappointment was changed into happiness because they’ve appreciated what we did that even though we didn’t took the 1st place, they’d still gave us the perfect score. After that, the “Pagrampa” started and they’ve introduced the gorgeous contestants wearing their Pilipino and Filipina clothes. I don’t know how long the program was but I think everyone enjoyed watching.. After the program, we all worked together bringing our tables back to our room and arranged it. Then we cleaned the gymnasium. Thank God that it was a successful celebration and even though everyone is tired, at least we all had a great time.
Recalling what we did this August sure is fun. Anyway, bye bye August..until next year again and goodbye for now. We just reached the end of my post..;)
