FUN IN NOVEMBER

--->Mr. & Ms. Step<---

This month was pretty much fun not because I’m not scared anymore in Halloween but because there were so many events that happened that I really enjoyed.
First of all, the contest for Mr. & Ms. Step that took place in SEPNAS. We all enjoyed watching the different candidates ramping on the stage. Sajarah was so cute and beautiful with her outfits that’s why no doubt that she’s the Ms. SCA. She’s intelligent too you know because she answered the question asked to her well. And when they’ve announced her as the 2nd runner-up, honestly, we’re a little disappointed because we expected that she’ll be the 1st runner-up or the Ms. Step but it’s okay. At least, she did her best just like Adrian. At his first appearance in the stage, I didn’t notice him because he looked so different. He’s really handsome, cool and smart that’s why he’s the Mr. Step. Even students in different schools were cheering for him. At the contest, the candidate #13 in Ms. Step and candidate#11 in Mr. Step caught our attention too.
The program lasted until 6pm I think. With my friends, we all walked on our way back to school. We did crazy stuffs while walking that is why we didn’t feel exhausted.

--->PETER PAN<---

Have you heard the story of a boy who doesn’t want to grow old?
Well, let me tell you something about Peter Pan. He is a boy that wanted to be young forever. With the seven lost boys and tinker bell, they lived in Neverland where you will never get old. On the other hand, Wendy is a girl who tells so many stories about peter pan to her brothers, John and Michael. One night, when peter went to Wendy’s house to get his shadow back to him, Wendy saw him. They talked to each other and finally, peter tells Wendy, with her brothers to come with him in Neverland.
Upon getting there, that’s the start of their adventures including their encounter with Captain Hook.

This is the story that we all agreed to present to Sir Maurison. Peter Pan is such a wonderful story. I’ve already watched it that’s why I said that. Because we’re all busy, we almost forgot doing the script but when we’ve got the chance to talk about it, everything was settled. I hope this will turn out to be great.

OCTOBERRIFIC

Oh..it’s really been so long since I’ve visited and made my blog. I know that this blog is really late but I still made it so that at least when I opened it, it’ll look complete.
Anyway, moving on, October was really memorable and wonderful. Why I said that?? Hmmm, well it’s because of the backyard camporal and the trade fair that happened.
First, let me tell you my experiences or should I think I’d say our experiences at the trade fair. When we were divided into two groups, each had planned their own strategies on how were we going to earn a lot of money. Each has their own strategies to attract the customers. In our group, we tried selling “turon”, popcorn and buko juice but charlesians didn’t like them that much excet for the buko juice. The next day, we sold “chicharon” with the buko juice, oh what a great combination. We also sold some candies and chocolates. People keep buying on us when we started selling those. On the three-day trade fair, we all did our best to earn the most a lot of money, and beacause of our hard work, our group got the most money earned. We’re all really thankful because all that we’ve done were worth it,.
Thanks to this practicum, I’ve learned to be more patient and cooperative..

Joining the camporal is really fun but can also be tiring sometimes because of the games that were really enjoyable. This years camporal is somehow I can.. say memorable specially for us because it’ll be our last.
One day before the camporal, we were given a chance to prepare all of what we have to prepare, to talk about what we’re going to bring, to choreograph our dance etc. The next day, the activities were started immediately. Oh, it was so fun. After that, we were given a chance to prepare ourselves for the program that night. It was wonderful, all had a great time even though its only one night.

SeptemBEST

>>part 1<<

Our Last Intramzzz. , ,

---Oh yeah, sad to say that the intramurals that we had is our last intramurals. And I just remembered that before, in my first two years in high school, I didn’t join in any sport because believe it not, I was so shy back then. But in my junior year, I’m slowly getting out of my shell and had the guts to join in the basketball team but for some reasons, I end up playing in volleyball.

Anyway, when ma’am Glo told us that are team in the intrams is the team we had last year, which is GREEN VIPERS with the same teammates, we were a little disappointed but after awhile, we just agreed.

Our practice for the intrams was a rush. Can you believe it, 3 days of practice? But in that 3 days, we took that time to be as fully prepared as we can, both in ball games and in dance showdown. When the schedule of the games was posted, I was shocked because our team in basketball will have the first game.

At the last day of practice, my teammates in basketball and I were talking. We’ve talked about that were going to enjoy this intrams, whether we’ll lose or win, it doesn’t matter. What’s important is that we’ll all have a great time and we’ll do our best.

The next day, 1st day of the intramurals, I felt mixed emotions. As usual, we had the “parade”, from the mini-stage going to the gym. Then, the program started. Of course, the lighting of the torch is there, followed by the Ms. and Mr. Intramurals both in the elementary and the high school department. All of the representatives of each team were so beautiful and handsome but the blue phoenix and white wolves stand out and won the titles. Even though our team didn’t get the title in the said event, we’re still proud of them. After that was the dance showdown.

Then, the ball games began. In our first game versus the gold tigers, I felt nervous just like the rest of my teammates but when we got to the gym, the nervousness that I had was fading. I became excited. After the four quarters of the game, we didn’t expect that were going to win. Even though were still not the champion, we felt that we are when we won.

In every game that we had, I knew that each and every one did their best just for our team. Even though none got the slot of being the champion in every event, we’re still proud for ourselves.

Last day of the intrams in the afternoon, only few charlesians came. I was fascinated in the voices of the participants in the singing duets and was rocked by the different bands in the battle of the bands.

A successful intramurals was it was.

GREEN VIPERS got the 2nd place.

>>part 2<<

Brain bashers. . .

---Before the exciting week of intramurals was the week of our 2nd min-periodical test, that’s why we only had the 3 days of practice left for our intramurals. I just really can’t concentrate to have my review that time because I was thinking already about the intramurals that is going to happen. Reviewing in every subject was so hard for me that time. Its like there’s no more space in my brain for another subject of review but still, I tried my best to be as focus as I am in my review.

When the exam was over, I was so relieved.

But then I just remembered, the exam is not yet done. There still NCAE that’s coming up after the intramurals. Oh well. . . Anyway, all of us didn’t have much review for the NCAE.

On the day of the exam, hmmmm, first, I was enjoying answering because it’s not that difficult until I got into the science subject. OMG, I don’t understand some of the questions and they gave me a headache back then. But wait, a double OMG and a triple headache for the test that was so confusing. I can’t remember what’s the title of that test but I just can’t forget about how I answered it especially the one that you’re going to spot the difference, oh my eyes were getting crossed already.

After the NCAE, thank god it’s done. No worries again.

YEBAH. . . PARTY PARTY!...

August BLASTS!!...

How time really flies when your enjoying yourself, isn't it?.. Another month had passed, and now, it’s September... Before starting another chapter of my life as a student, why don't you join me as I look back and see all the mixed emotions happenings this August..

When the month of August arrived, the "Buwan ng Wika" is what all the students were thinking of. But before putting our minds for that, we'd still have the 1st PT to take.. Whooaaa, tissue is what I need for my bleeding nose when we were solving problems in Math and answering the questions in reading comprehension and exercises in English which were like a college entrance test. What a relief when the exam was done and finding out that I didn't got failing scores...

With the theme, "Sa pangangalaga ng wika at kalikasan, wagas na pagmamahal talagang kailangan", the COM-ARTS club prepared so many things for the celebration of the "Buwan ng Wika". There were contests for all of the student.. Good in writing?, join the essay-writing and poem-making... Do you like composing songs and have the voice, you're the one they're looking for in the song-writing.. Are you an intelligent and magnificent speaker, and the ultimate "pambato" when it comes to debate, here is the "BALAGTASAN". Got the guts in conquering the stage, ramping while wearing the Pilipino clothes, the "Pagrampa" is just for you. There's also the contest in poster-making and exhibit where we all gave our best... We also watched the heart-pounding movie "Shake, Rattle and Roll XI". I thought I’ll get a heart attack back then..On the last day of the celebration is a program with Masters of Ceremony, Kim and David. Oh, they’re really good and I admire them for that.. All the COM-ARTS officers and members performed a dance number and some presented a play. They’d also announced the winners in the poster-making where we’re in the 3rd place and 2nd place in the exhibit. We were very disappointed about the results because I thought we’re going to get the 1st place especially in the exhibit because it’s well-organized and unique. All of us worked very hard for it. Thanks to Sir Maurison, the disappointment was changed into happiness because they’ve appreciated what we did that even though we didn’t took the 1st place, they’d still gave us the perfect score. After that, the “Pagrampa” started and they’ve introduced the gorgeous contestants wearing their Pilipino and Filipina clothes. I don’t know how long the program was but I think everyone enjoyed watching.. After the program, we all worked together bringing our tables back to our room and arranged it. Then we cleaned the gymnasium. Thank God that it was a successful celebration and even though everyone is tired, at least we all had a great time.

Recalling what we did this August sure is fun. Anyway, bye bye August..until next year again and goodbye for now. We just reached the end of my post..;)

Reach the unreachable STAR

STRIVE HARDER..BELIEVE IN MYSELF AND TO THE PEOPLE WHOSE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME THAT KEEPS ON SUPPORTING AND GUIDING AND MOST OF ALL..NEVER GIVE UP...

These are my realizations after the activity we did in our English class...For me..this year, English is my most awaited subject..Why?Well, I really like the way Sir Mauris teach, the way he presents the lesson through activities, which I can say that I'm learning something from it. One of the activities that caught my attention [I'm not saying that I don't pay attention on the other activities;)] is our lesson about Icarus and Daedalus which Sir Mauris told us to make two feathers. Some of my classmates were assigned to perform a role play about the story and I enjoyed of what they did. They were so good actors and I really admire them for that but I didn't expect that Sir Mauris had prepared something that will touch our hearts this much...
"A story of a man, which is a bridgemaster, who loved his son so much". At the start of this video, GOD and my father are the first two persons that came into my mind. As the the story continues, my heart started to beat fast when the part that the bridgemaster's son fell and he would have to choose of who will be saving, is it his son or the people inside the train. It made my heart ache when he chose to save the people in the train over his son and I know that it caused more pain to the bridgemaster because of what he did. Losing someone that you loved the most especially for a father to lose his son is hurtful. But at the end of the story, there's something good happened because of what he did. An addict woman which is one of the people in the train had a chance to change his life and bear a child.. Sometimes, sacrificing is not bad at all.. It sometimes gives a good effect to others. "For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only Son".
"A Letter from our parents"... Upon reading the letter that Sir Mauris told us to read and let us think that it is from our parents, brought sadness to me and made me cry even more. I really think about my parents that time and the times that I disobeyed them. The times that I'm not being a good daughter to them. I wanted to tell them that I'm sorry for the things I've done wrong and that,..I love them so much and I appreciate all the things they've done but I don't know why but I don't have the guts to tell them that..Maybe this is not the right time for me to tell them that but I promise that if that time came, I will not hesitate to tell it to them...
Wait, there's more... The last part of our activity is where we'd all got a chance to hold the feathers we've made, closed our eyes and think of our greatest dream. My greatest dream in life... I pictured myself flying so high in the sky that I could almost touch the stars and when I looked down, I saw the people that plays a big role in my life: my parents, my brothers and sisters, my friends and teachers..all of them that gives me inspiration to face all the challenges that I will go through while reaching for my dreams.
Then we opened our eyes and gave the feathers to our classmates which we think will be our guide in reaching our dreams. I gave mine to my closest friends that has been there for me.
Finally, that ends our class. Before going out of the room, I put a smile on my face so that it will not be obvious that I cried;)...
We will stop from here 'coz this is the end of my post................... .......................................for now.......................................

AWESOME!!!

This picture was taken in Narciso Ramos Sports Complex..My friends and I wanted to check out the place where the milo olympics was being held so we've decided to go there...From the moment we got out from the van, the only word that we said was "WOW" with our mouth wide opened..But who will not?,the place was really amazing..so wide and one thing that really caught our attention was the bridge..We also bought some souvenier..so cute..We'd spent only one hour there but I had a great time..Before leaving the place,we wanted to take a picture at the bridge but some got scared to go there and I'm one of those..Oh well, there's still next time..haha..Oh yeah..thanks to the father of chelsea for the ride....And after that,we all went home.. nEXT DESTINATION,..to BAGUIO..hehe..hope so..
